According to TaxiPro, the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) will monitor less intensively in a number of areas next year due to budget cuts. This affects, among other things, the approach within taxi and bus transport.
Supervision by the ILT plays a role in compliance with rules in taxi transport in the Netherlands. Less capacity for inspections could impact how strictly rules are enforced in the sector.
