The Vietnamese mobility and taxi company Green SM has started a pilot in Amsterdam, reports TaxiPro. The company uses VinFast electric cars as taxis and starts in the Center, West and South districts. The other districts may follow later. The pilot is the first step towards a full rollout in Amsterdam.
The arrival of Green SM shows that international parties see Dutch taxi transport as a promising market for fully electric services. For the sector in the Rijnmond region, this confirms the trend that customers increasingly expect an electric taxi, both in major cities and beyond.
